Three birds lived in a nest. They went for a walk. They built homes. The first bird built a house of grass. The second bird built a home out of branches. The third bird built a home made of rocks.
A big bad cat came and told the first bird to let him in. The bird said, “No!” The cat scratched the grass house and the bird ran to the branch home. The cat also knocked it down easily. The birds ran to the rock house and ran inside.
The cat tried to blow it down, but he couldn’t blow it down, so he went down the hole to the fireplace. The birds lit a match. The cat fell in the fire and ran away down the tree and into his little cat house. He shut the door and he sat on an ice pack and never went back up the tree. The three birds were happy and walked back to their nest happily ever after. The end.
